Scalability Lab

Driven by the need for a comprehensive solution to the scalability issue, we have decided to launch this campaign to evaluate in depth all the options that have been presented in order to keep the network running, without disruption, even with a number of transactions several orders of magnitude higher than the current one.

The emphasis will be on studying the optimization of the current nodes, without directly targeting the overall scalability of the network, as we seek to avoid introducing new changes that may impact the consensus rules. The proposal is focused on extracting the best possible performance from existing software and hardware.
