Amplification of BCH's voice, share high-signal content, attract new users by focusing on adoption stories, tech updates, and community vibes. Why This Campaign? Bitcoin Cash is the best money that the world has ever created and has some of the best developers and engineers in the space. There’s just one, tiny, but important challenge to overcome! Getting people educated about this amazing technology and then using it! Despite having a market cap of over 10 billion dollars, Bitcoin Cash has a total marketing budget of a rounding error of a rounding error … marketing and outreach can be improved tremendously! This is a big challenge, and the running and growing of BitcoinCashOG on X.com is an important first step to tackle this. Social media is a great way to reach millions or even billions of people , and Bitcoin Cash can benefit from a prominent, easily discoverable presence on X.com, just like other decentralised cryptos with large, highly followed accounts. When large accounts, such as news outlets or crypto exchanges, tweet about Monero, Dash, Bitcoin, Litecoin etc, they often use @links to the largest handles representing those coins. This allows X users to simply click the account hyperlink and hit follow on that account to stay in the loop with the latest, greatest news from that coin and its community. Bitcoin Cash is currently the odd one out. BCH never has any link to any account. People are lazy, they likely won’t even hit the search bar. Even if they do, they will not find any large BCH account to follow, and therefore probably wont follow anyone in the space nor get any news on their feed. Worse still, they may likely conclude that BCH is a dead project with no people in it! We can solve this and supercharge Bitcoin Cash’s reach to ensure that whenever Bitcoin Cash is mentioned in a social media post, it links to a: Well curated Good vibes only PG 13 Non-political Non-exclusionary Beacon of pure BCH goodness aka, @BitcoinCashOG! This project aims to change the perception of BCH to be a lively, thriving ecosystem with boundless opportunity. The strategy relies on community buy in and support! Renaming the account is reliant on enough community buy in proof, which will take time and some strategic manoeuvres. Goals and Vision: Grow the Account Milestone 1: 100 followers - end of week 2 (Completed 10th August 2025 / 11 days ahead of schedule 🎯) Milestone 2: 1000 followers - November 2025 Milestone 3: 5000 Followers Rename account to “Bitcoin Cash” Milestone 4: 10,000 followers - February 2026 Milestone 5: 50,000 followers - August 2026 Milestone 6: 100,000 followers - January 2027 Content Strategy: 3-4 posts/day, themes include: Merchant Monday:(adoption focus), Mid-Week Geek Out:(education), Feel-Good Friday:(engagement), and neutral, informative updates. All content is positive, fact-based, and community-driven. These themes will morph and adapt depending on feedback and growth based on data analysis: Expand Outreach : Increase BCH Spaces and Podcasts to spark discussions, collaborations, and cross-community engagement. As we grow, allocate time and budget for attending crypto conferences to represent BCH and boosting educational posts on X for wider visibility. Community Benefits : Provide a clean, positive, high signal channel where anyone can learn about BCH's potential as everyday digital cash. Amplify user stories, dev projects, and real-world uses to inspire more adoption. Account Guidelines : The account has clear guidelines to ensure that it remains an overwhelmingly positive force for the Bitcoin Cash Community and network. BitcoinCashOG Guidelines Posts from BitcoinCashOG are designed for maximum positive impact for the network and community, that hold the community and the network’s best interests at heart. To achieve this there are some guidelines to help keep posts, content, and frequency on point. 3-4 posts per day Replies to other posts are not limited in number Posts spread out where possible to cover 24 hours No profanity No pornographic posts No overly political posts Although Bitcoin Cash is inherently political so will be a balance No talking of price No opinions on protocol changes Posting of proposed changes to keep people informed is ok, but posts should be handled neutrally. No aggressive language or attacking / antagonistic behaviour. Will use humble humour and facts as a retort. No supporting any flipstarter/fundme.
